CCHP handed over to the Municipality of Beit Sahour the “Bylaws of Regulations for the Conservation of the Traditional Centre and Individual building of Beit Sahour”, implemented in cooperation with the municipality and funded by the Government of Sweden – Sida through UNESCO – Ramallah Office. These bylaws will be enlisted withing the master plan of Beit Sahour.

CCHP and Dar Al-Sabagh Centre hosted a play show at its premises by the Hara Theatre. The play entitled “Merameyeh” which addresses stories and events from those Palestinians who were banished in 1948 and the harsh human experiences, memories and others.

Among the awareness activities and community outreach CCHP organizes in Palestine, with the aim to emphasize the importance of the heritage, the centre launched the ceremony event of the photography contest within the campaign “Our Roots, Our Heritage” at its premises.

CCHP hosted a German delegation of 16 architects from the Engineering Association in Baden-Fortinburg through the Peace by Piece association in Beit Sahour. The delegation was introduced to the resources of cultural heritage and rehabilitation initiatives implemented and are on-going by CCHP. As well, a tour inside the historic centre of Bethlehem, a WHS, and the Church of the nativity was organized.

CCHP participated in the international conference in Italy within the “RURITAGE” project, a research project funded by the EU since 2018 which aim at revitalizing the landscape areas through enhancing the concept of cultural heritage preservation for sustainable and community development. The CCHP was selected to be part in this project among 90 applications from various countries.
